Sunday writing

 

BLOG SUNDAY STATUS:

 'Well, I have been up a hour or so, put a load of washing on, filled the dishwasher, had a quick clean up and am now enjoying sitting on the sofa writing, on page 120 ! prob a third through. This is my fave time for writing, early morning, when everyone is asleep, no TV, no sound ( well the washing machine lol) but just thinking time...perfect.'

 

One of my friends from uni messaged me yesterday and said I still had grammar problems in The Bonding !
So being a star has offered to look, (yay) I just don't have the ability to see problems. I think.
And there are 4 books out there that need doing!!!
May have to do some editing in holidays. :/

God, I only hope that one day, someone will decide to be my agent and I can get them looked at the book and make it perfect.

I want to write, but feel a little out of my depth when it comes to spellings and grammar.
I suppose thats what happens, when at aged 40 you decided to start writing books, with no English background or knowledge !

Anyway, I'm hoping that with a edit, the book will be okay, and will be easier to read, I don't want people to not read it because its all wrong :(

I must say feeling a little disheartened today. I wonder if everyone feels like this at some point.

writing time

Well still no writing at work, was hoping that maybe at lunch time I might get a 20 min break or so, but no.
So had dinner and set myself two hours from 7-9
Just done that and managed 1,700 ish words. I was aiming for 2000, not far of, but I am thinking and copying bits from notes.
OK, well, here's to a bit at work tomorrow lol, though can only make notes as the book is on PC at home.
Gone are the days of emailing chunks backwards and forwards I get in such a muddle.
Two hours tomorrow,  then two Friday and then...
The weekend !!!!
Long excellent writing hours. yay!

slow and steady

well today I lugged my planning A4 note book to work along with the two A4 ones I am writing in only to find, there wasn't one moment of the day, to do any actual writing. lol

Anyway after dinner I managed to write for 2 hours straight and managed to write 1,768 words, not sure if that's good or bad lol, but it is something !!!
Also added a few lines I have written tonight, on twitter and face book to get some interest. Not sure if it does, but worth a try.

Writing

Been able to get a bit of writing done today- a good few pages on Carne and just now some on Lily, still working on paper so may have to type at weekend. Or it gets too much lol
Flow isn't as good as before, but in sure the more I can write the better it will be. Stuff that is coming out on the page is good - god hope I can ever it published in next couple of months.

first day of writing for a long time

Today I have spent most of the day writing Eternal
at first it felt odd, I was of course rusty and the story was patchy, but I soon picked it up and wrote loads, though I stress in a notebook, so still needs to be tided up and written on the laptop.

I have just been doing a heavy part from Carne, a really emotional section which is a different part of the book.
need to look a solicitors letter for a format too....

2 days till end of year exams then.....

I CAN WRITE !!!
& I can't wait, will be so nice to finally put all my time and effort into finishing book 5
I didn't realise this years uni would be so intense and take so much of my time, but the end is so close.
Just hope the questions are not to hard and I can focus my wee brain into remembering all the stuff Ive read.
