The Bonding Books

The Bonding is the first in a series of books about everyday people mingled with magic and love.
Get entangled in the complicated world of Lillian Tempest, a young, ordinary girl who just happens to be a witch, and not a very good one at that.
Her destiny, her life is all laid out and there's nothing she can do to change it...

facebook

I feel so chuffed, I've had a few people who have read the books comment on my face book page :)

thank you guys xxx

Its a really weird feeling, I mean I hoped someone, somewhere would like the books , even enjoy them, but you never really know if any one will.
Then when you read someone liked them it is such a warm feeling, like 'wow' its fantastic.
wish I had more time though to write, I'm on my last two assignments for uni then defiantly 'wrting time' as I re read revision material for the June exam then full on author mode will hit lol
I love that, when I think, dream and imagine the world of the bonding, scribbling down little ideas throughout the day, waking up at night, after just imagining a conversation in my head with the characters...perfect !

p.s. Just been chilling out today reading a little of Fallen by Lauren Kate...love that book.

wow

Just had a quick peek on the free lending period (5days)
and looks like almost 500 people in the USA downloaded my book, 200 in England and one or two in other counties.
yay !

Not a happy bunny :(

Hmmmm....
It was going to happen...Eventually, with my ' C 'grade in English some 25 years ago lol... I have had a negative review on my Amazon page for The Bonding. ( though they didn't have to pay for it as it was free)

Been fluctuating between feeling like 'its okay', he's entitled to his opinion, to' maybe I should give up writing' as I am not adept enough in the literary field, the extreme maybe, but it is a bit of a downer.

I'm the first one to say I NEED aneditor, god what I wouldn't do to have a professional look at my work and help !!
But its not easy, I did try, for almost a year, writing to editors, publishing houses and trying to find an agent.
I need help, help with punctuation, spelling grammar...God I just want to write ( giggles to myself)

Ok ok, basically I'm just a full time working mum who wants to share my magical story with you, to get it out there...The story of Lily, Logan and Carne and there amazing journey and thier love.

Right enough wallowing, deep breath...(repeats in head: I will not let this put me off) I still need to get the last  two books finished and out there...

P.S. Thank you to everyone who has brought my books :) spelling mistakes and all xxx xxx

have gone free...well for 5 days!

After an idea form hubby, I have put The Bonding on for free for 5 days, using the Amazon promotional package.
I do feel a Little bad for those who have brought it, but hopefully it might generate a little interest.
I didn't foresee the difficulties of promoting my book once out there!
Enjoying One Day which i picked up yesterday. Really good !

busy

well haven;t been able to do what I love for a while, and that's write as my ou course is taking up so much time. Its in depth, loads of novels to read and absorb , before having to write essays on them. but I finish after my exam in June then my new course isn't until Sept so a good few months for uninterrupted writing. Its a shame really as the next book is all ready to be typed up, its just finding the time.
Have read some very interesting classics though over last few months, Wuthering Heights a book I was not fond of has now become a cherished favourite as I have delved into the characters and examined it deeply. who would have thought, seriously thinking of giving another Bronte a go.
Then there was The sandman, odd book and just finished The Sign of Four, which I loved before I began :)
okay well sorry for the wait guys, but it will be worth it.
